A lot has happened on the prairie since we last talked. There is an urgency in my typing that is new as adrenaline surges through me.
Unpredictability has entered my life, and it keeps me on the edge of my seat.
What could it be, you wonder?
I will show you.
This little fireball sits at my feet chewing on my slipper. I am grateful it is my slipper and not the computer cord or the table leg
or the carpet…..
Say hello to Hope. She arrived 2 days ago with an innocent look that melted my heart. Chaos ensued.
She looks deceivingly calm in these photos. Actually, she is a whirlwind of fluffy surprises.
She loves playing tag with dead leaves…
and hide-and-seek with pebbles.
Her constant frolicking makes her enormously thirsty and her bladder?
Well, it’s about the size of a pea.
I have fleeting memories of peaceful uninterrupted hours spent writing on the prairie,
but I wouldn’t change a thing.
When the sun goes down, I know all is as it should be.
For in the unpredictability lies a new love and that is priceless.
How lucky I am.
………and the photos are beautiful
