If I were born in a box, there would be no mystery.
I would know the corners of my world. . .
recognize my limitations. . .
know how far I could go.
But I was born out of the box.
There are no corners here.
I gaze up at the stars and see endless unknowable worlds.
Eternity– how far does it go? My mind barely grasps forever.
Out of the box, I wonder, how far can I go?
What is my potential?
I’ve seen and heard of miracles performed by gifted souls. Could I go there?
I wonder.
Sometimes I forget and live as though born in a box, wrapped up in drama, my vision narrow.
This never feels right, for my soul recognizes wandering.
My soul wants to be my potential.
Is my potential endless as the stars?
I think so.
Strive for it, dear friends.
Beautiful!

Very profound thoughts. I was thinking though, no matter where one is born, breaking from the box bounds can happen to all. That peacock is amazing. They never raise the tails when I see them. Nice photos all around.

Actually it’s a bee moth– fooled me to the first time I saw it. As there are so very few bees this year, I am wondering if this mother nature’s solution. It’s nice to see little creatures in the wildflowers making new seeds for next year. Thanks for your visit Derrick.

I don’t know how you do it. You must be a very patient soul. God Bless you for capturing His creatures so beautifully.

Actually not so patient. I usually find enough photos in 2 short walks with the dog. There really is so much beauty around us if we take but a few minutes to look. Blessings to you.

Those little creatures are actually bee moths. I have never seen them before this year. Since we are lacking in bees, I am happy they are here and seem to be thriving.

Thank you Linda. I am glad I dusted my camera off a year ago. Photography is something I really enjoy. I’ve been to the mountains of Colorado years ago. It is a beautiful part of the world. I am enjoying your blog.
